Once a week, you will meet for a small-group discussion of the lesson, hear from a teaching leader how the truths of Scripture can be applied to daily life and receive comprehensive notes on the Scripture passages you studied. No sermon applies itself! But every sermon from the main stage can better, and more quickly, be applied to our lives when we individually reflect on what we have heard. Far better yet, is to do so within a group as we gather to discuss and seek the Holy Spirit’s transformational power. Join this inter-generational community group for a guided discussion on Sundays. The group will look deeper into the Word applied to foster greater personal growth in the context of a larger community. The sermon application and discussion will place an emphasis on family life, but will consider too, the workplace, and the local neighborhood. Everyone is welcome. Genesis is now INSIGHT. We are called to be salt and light in the world and our world begins with our family, our neighborhood, and our workplace. We take a second look at the main stage teaching on Sundays using a tailored study guide and we apply that teaching to our life as we dive into a dynamic group discussion. Once a month, we carve out social time to get to know one another better as we share our stories and share a meal. Everyone is welcome to try out this multi-generational (team led) group.

Spring group study - Altar Ego by Craig Groeschel 5-weeks - April 13. You are NOT who you think you are. In fact, according to bestselling author Craig Groeschel in Altar Ego, you need to take your idea of your own identity, lay it down on the altar, and sacrifice it. Give it to God. Offer it up.Why? Because you are who God says you are. And until you’ve sacrificed your broken concept of your identity, you won’t become who you are meant to be.When we place our false labels and self-deception on the altar of God’s truth, we discover who we really are as his sons and daughters. Instead of an outward-driven, approval-based ego, we learn to live with an “altar” ego, God’s vision of who we are becoming.Discover how to trade in your broken ego and unleash your altar ego to become a living sacrifice. Once we know our true identity and are growing in our Christ-like character, then we can behave accordingly, with bold behavior, bold prayers, bold words, and bold obedience.

'All for Love' .... This year we embrace the transformative power of love, to the point where it starts to affect everything we do — the way we talk to our kids, interact with strangers, handle disappointments, celebrate victories, make decisions. When love floods into our lives, it all shifts. It results in less doom-scrolling, more conversation. Less comparison, more community. Less fear, more confidence. More over-the-top displays of compassion. More patience. More life in our souls. This year, love will save us. In fact, it already has, because love’s name is Jesus. Relevant is a group of mostly mid 30's (with some a bit younger and some a bit older) who are all learning more about what God has for them in His Word. The group has people from all walks of life-- from singles to married couples, people with fur babies and people with actual babies, professionals in a variety of fields and people just getting started in the workforce. What brings them all together is the desire to dive into the Sunday sermon message and apply the Biblical teaching to real life. The group works from a sermon study guide written each week and posted on the CFC website on Thursday evening.

Experiencing community at CFC begins with Rooted. Rooted is a 10-week small group experience designed to connect you to God, the church, and your purpose. Together, in a group of 12-20 people from all walks of life, you’ll explore the Bible, engage in prayer, and serve experiences, share stories, and practice the rhythms essential to a healthy spiritual life. These spiritual rhythms aren't new, or something the church recently created, every one of them is found in Acts 2 where the early church began. Rooted small groups are led by a trained facilitator to guide you through the 10-week experience. This Rooted group will begin meeting on January 18, 2023. Portal –New 6 week Series- March 25 Many Christians believe our future in heaven is all that really matters. But that's not what the Bible teaches. In Surprised by Hope, premier Bible scholar N. T. Wright brings you inside the Scriptures to grasp the full, breathtaking hope Jesus offers the world, and its impact on your life today. Gain an exciting new vision for your life on earth in light of your future in heaven. Wonderful as is the promise of heaven, a glorious hereafter is just part of what salvation is about. What about today? Jesus called his followers the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Your life here and now is of tremendous consequence, and what you believe about the future has a direct impact on how you live in the present. Premiere biblical scholar N. T. Wright opens your eyes to the amazing full scope of what God's Word has to say about the world to come and the world that is. Portal joins Band of Brothers on the 2nd Saturday of the month.

. Mysteries of the Messiah by Rabbi Jason Sobel *Study Guides available. Contact Beth Davidson- bdavidson@cfcwired.org By exploring the Mysteries of the Messiah, you can ignite a new love for Jesus and passion for the Bible that will bring you greater hope and transform your life. Many Christians today view the Old Testament as just a collection of archaic stories and out-of-date prophecies and teachings. But the reality is that every page of the Old Testament reveals divine mysteries about Jesus, the Messiah, that still apply today. Only by understanding the Old Testament can Christians understand the complete picture of who God is, how he relates to us, and what he is doing today in the world. In this six-session video Bible study walk with Messianic Rabbi Jason Sobel as he shows you how the Bible fits together as a whole to offer one complete picture of Jesus.
