In this video driven study, women will learn the tools to live with spiritual consistency, break damaging thought patters, find greater motivation to take care of the same things that break Jesus' heart in their everyday livesDescription:Jesus Over Everything. Do you long to know what a truly transformed life really feels like? Do you want to? Every reference to transformation & a healthy spiritual life in Scripture is dependent on putting God 1st, so what's the problem? Often times our human struggle is rooted in our priorities & where Jesus lands on our laundry list of considerations. Regardless of what we know to be true, our actions do not reflect the truth & virtue that Christ promises when we choose to put him 1st. Author, Lisa Whittle challenges us to put Jesus over everything-from simple to complex circumstance, heart to head understanding, in everyday application and see what really happens. Only when He is 1st, do we know what a truly transformed life feels like. Lisa puts practical language to our universal difficulties, offering hope & direction for the future ahead. It's a compelling picture of what Jesus followers crave & struggle to define as we seek to give God His rightful place in our everyday lives.Young Adults Relevant Type: Co-EdContact:Jason WallDate/Time:Sunday 11:00AM to 12:00PMLocation:Please contact Jason Wall for the location.Schedule:Hybrid class meets at 11:00 on Sunday mornings. Description:Relevant is a group of mostly mid 30 years olds (with some a bit younger and some a bit older) who are all learning more about what God has for them in His Word. The group has people from all walks of life-- from singles to married couples, people with fur babies and people with actual babies, professionals in a variety of fields and people just getting started in the workforce. What brings them all together is the desire to dive into Scripture and learn more about the history behind God's word as well as what it means for us today. The Relevant teaching team brings a different style of teaching to the material covered each week. COVID has provided an opportunity to grow in the way that the group gathers. With restrictions lifting in the NOVA area they have recently moved to a hybrid approach, meeting both in person as well as virtually. This allows the group to meet together in person for those who are comfortable and still include others who prefer to meet virtually.
