Community Groups Home > Get Connected > Community Groups WE ARE COMMITTED to gathering together to engage in relevant Bible studies, supporting one another and to owning a clear mission of serving. Acts 2:42 Want to join a community group? We understand that not everyone is ready to join a small group but would prefer to experience a larger group of approximately 15-25 individuals focused on Bible study and begin building friendships with other attendees of Christian Fellowship Church. The community groups generally meet at the church on Sunday mornings. John 10:10 (NIV) At MOPS, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together, face to face. That’s why we rally women to come together in their own neighborhoods and help each other through this thing called motherhood, one gathering at a time. Rooted is a 10 week curriculum designed to connect you to God at a deeper level, to the church community and designed to help you discover your purpose here on earth and begin to live that out. ROOTED is for everyone! Why does Rooted work so well? It capitalizes on experiential learning during the weekly group gathering. Research has proven that one of the most powerful ways we retain information is through experience. Rooted isn’t just about head knowledge, it’s about taking risks and actually doing things Jesus did. A ROOTED group will practice 7 rhythms essential to a healthy relationship with Jesus – daily devotion, prayer, freedom from strong holds, sacrificial generosity, serving the community, sharing your story and celebrating. These spiritual disciplines are foundational to the life of a Christ Follower.
