Acts 2:42 Want to join a community group? We understand that not everyone is ready to join a small group but would prefer to experience a larger group of approximately 15-25 individuals focused on Bible study and begin building friendships with other attendees of Christian Fellowship Church. John 10:10 (NIV) At MOPS, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together, face to face. That’s why we rally women to come together in their own neighborhoods and help each other through this thing called motherhood, one gathering at a time. Young Adults Relevant Type: Co-EdContact:Jason WallDate/Time:Sunday 11:00AM to 12:00PMLocation:Room 221 upstairs above The Gathering PlaceSchedule:Sunday 11a-12p Description:A group of young adults ages 25-35+ Relevant, The Community Group is team led and will be studying the book of 1 Samuel in January -February 2020. 1 and 2 Samuel are named after the person God used to establish monarchy in Israel. Samuel not only anointed both Saul and David, Israel’s first two kings, but he also gave definition to the new order of God’s rule over Israel. Samuel’s role as God’s representative in this period of Israel’s history is close to that of Moses (see Ps 99:6; Jer 15:1) since he, more than any other person, provided for covenant continuity in the transition from the rule of the judges to that of the monarchy.
